A Place under the Sun

According to the time table of the project Empowerment Against Discrimination ,On 25 November 2011 , Association for Intercultural Dialogue has organized the event -A Place Under the Sun for the most discriminated group from Romania , Roma people . Young people belonging to Roma ethnicity from the high schools of Bucharest together with their colleagues belonging to majority have held interactive discussion with the president of National Council for Combating Discrimination, the representative of Rumanian National Commission for UNESCO, the representative of Romanian Institute for Human Rights and with the inspectors from Municipality School Inspectorate in order to know the policies for social inclusion of Roma people. On the other hand both Roma young people and young people belonging majority shared their own values showing each other their dances and songs
